Our History
Family & team are the ingredients at the heart of our success
It is the entire team at La Petite Grange who undertakes the mission to perpetuate values that have been dear to us for over 55 years: authenticity, generosity, and respect for the craftsmanship of artisanal production. The quality of service and the warm welcome reserved for our customers have always set us apart. Years may pass, but some things have not changed: the use of quality products, the care for well-executed work, and the generosity of our products.
Our little story, since 1969.
It was in 1969 that our story began, when Laurent and Marcelle Meury opened the doors of their business, which has been constantly evolving since its inception. It all started with a car wash and a gas pump, to which a fruit and vegetable stand was added, as well as Marcelle’s homemade pecan pies and Queen Elizabeth cakes. Over the years, Laurent and Marcelle expanded their skills and learned the art of baking, pastry making, and chocolate making.
La Petite Grange as we know it today took shape in the 1980s with the construction of the new building. The 1990s and 2000s saw the birth of the sandwich bar, the delicatessen and gourmet baskets, and the Chocolate Museum.
The team grew, and then their children, François and Ann, joined the business. The family succession turned into a reality when their daughter, Ann, became the owner in 2012.
Our story continues, for you and because of you!
Every year, the team makes changes to the presentation and introduces new gourmet products, each more delicious than the last. The passion and generosity are evident and tasted at La Petite Grange!
