In 1969, Laurent and Marcelle Meury started a business that is still evolving to this day. It all began with a car wash and a gas station. Over time, a fruits and vegetables stand was added, where homemade pies and cakes made by Marcelle were sold. The team grew, along with François and Ann, the owners’ children, who decided to join the company. In 2012, Ann took over the family business.
Now more than a family, the La Petite Grange team made its mission to perpetuate the values that they have been building on for over 45 years: the utmost respect for the knowledge and know-how of the artisanal method, authenticity, generosity and integrity. Years have passed, but some things never change: the use of quality products, attention to details and the bountiful nature of our products.
La Petite Grange as we know it began taking shape in the 1980s, with the construction of the building that is currently the home of the artisanal bakery, the fine pastry shop, the chocolate factory and the Chocolate Interpretation Center.
Throughout the years, many products and services were added to the range of homemade goods: a sandwich shop, fine cheeses, home cooked meats, ciders and wines… We now also have a beautiful flowery patio and an inviting dining room. Our candy wall and the gourmet baskets filled with Quebec and imported regional products complete this more than alluring picture.
Each year, the team tries to outdo itself by bringing new ideas to the table, upgrading its presentation and creating new gourmet products. Passion and generosity is easy to see – and taste – at La Petite Grange!
La Petite Grange is renowned for its welcoming atmosphere and its stellar costumer service, for regular clients and tourists alike. The clientele has recognized the authenticity and quality of the products many times over and the media and tourism industry also have taken notice:
